Triple fatal accident in Audrain County

The Missouri State Highway Patrol has reported that three people .are dead following an accident in Audrain County  on Friday afternoon near Centrailia.

They say that happened on Missouri 22 just west of County Road 233, as 21-year-old John Deak of Wellsville was driving with passengers 22-year-old Timothy Penrod, also of Wellsville, and 15-year-old Angela Conder of Benton City.

Deak's car was crossing the center line when it was hit  on the passenger side by a tractor trailer driven by 52-year-old Jimmy Melner of Huntsville.

Deak, Penrod, and Conder were all pronounced dead on-scene by the Audrain County Coroner at 5:30 p.m. Their bodies have been taken to Arnold Funeral Home in Mexico, Missouri.
