Two arrests resulted in both incidents
On Friday, August 24, 2012, the Jefferson City Police Department’s SWAT Team, with Jefferson City Police Detectives and the MUSTANG Drug Task Force, served two separate narcotics-related search warrants in Jefferson City.
Warrant 1
The first warrant was served at 10:20 a.m. in the 1100 block of East Miller Street, where two persons were arrested and taken into custody for the following:
Henry Williams, 23-year-old Jefferson City man
- Possession of narcotics with intent to distribute
- Receiving stolen property
Sonya Clark, 42-year-old Jefferson City woman
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
While the initial search warrant at this location was for narcotics, Jefferson City Police Detectives found a number of items within the residence that matched the description of stolen items taken in various area residential burglaries. A second search warrant was obtained, and the items were taken into evidence, resulting in the charges listed above.
Warrant 2
The second search warrant was served at 11:52 a.m. in the 700 block of Broadway, where two more persons were arrested.
Robert Lee Jones, 37-year old-Jefferson City man
Marnee Jenkins, 41-year-old Jefferson City woman
Both were arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
All were transported to the Cole County Jail pending formal charges.
No one was injured during the incidents.
