Residents confront would-be burglars

The suspect vehicle has been found and one of the alleged robbers has been identified.

Cole County Sheriff's Deputies are searching for two men who tired to burglarize a home Friday morning.

Two men tried to break into a home in the 2200 block of Saddlebrook Lake Road. The homeowners confronted the men, and they ran off.

The two men drove off in a Ford Explorer. Witnesses said the SUV was white with grey accents.
