They came out wearing pink to spotlight women's health issues.

But their approach is not popular with everyone.

The Planned Parenthood action fund brought stopped by Columbia State Representative Mary Still's office.

Most of the talk was about insurance, access to health care and the option for abortion.

But those on hand, including Michelle Trupiano with the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, didn't miss the chance to address the biggest women's issue in the news right now.

I think that's especially important, considering the comments that Todd Akin made just on Sunday, where it's clear that many politicians, especially extreme-right politicians, don't have a clue when it comes to women's health,” said Trupiano, “And yet they're voting on issues that affect us each and every day up in congress."

Many pro-life advocates, like Kathryn Forck, though, say they don't agree with the extreme backlash against akin.

Because he misspoke? He said something that could be just totally blown out of proportion, we're going to throw him under the bus...under a pink bus? I just think that we need to stop and think 'ok, this man represents life, Claire McCaskill represents abortion...who are we going to vote for? We vote for life, that's the end of the discussion."

Both sides know the argument will continue, but the election will be settled in less than 11 weeks.
