Stolen vehicle pursuit ends in drug arrests

 Last night at 9:00pm, a Boone County Sheriff's Deputy pulled over a vehicle that was believed to be stolen.


The vehicle was spotted on eastbound I-70 at Stadium Boulevard.


The two females in the vehicle claimed to have received the vehicle from another suspect.


Driving the vehicle thought to be stolen from Jefferson City was 54 year old Columbia resident, Nancy L. McDaniel.


McDaniel was arrested for one count of Tampering with a Motor Vehicle, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.


The female passenger, 50 year old Columbia resident Teresa A. Whittington, was arrested for

Possession with the Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine, Tampering with a Motor Vehicle, Tampering with Evidence, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.


The investigation into the stolen vehicle is on-going by the Jefferson City Police Department.
