Three armed men sought after home burglary

BOONE COUNTY --

Boone County sheriff’s deputies are investigating an early morning burglary.

Deputies said before 1 a.m. Tuesday three armed masked men broke through a basement door of a home in the 5800 block of Waterfront Drive South.

The three residents told officials nothing was taken in the burglary and the suspects left after two of the residents managed to escape.

The residents were unable to provide detailed descriptions of the suspects other than they were wearing dark clothing.

Anyone with information about this crime is urged to contact CrimeStoppers at 875-TIPS (7477).
