She fought him as he tried to stab her
While walking along Broadway near the Columbia Cemetery on Tuesday night, a 19-year-old woman was grabbed and pulled to the ground by a man. He tried to stab the woman, but she was able to fight him off and he ran away.
Officers were dispatched at 8 p.m. The woman had a ¼ inch laceration to her chest, minor cuts to her legs and a cut to her hands that required stitches. She was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
SUSPECT DESCRIPTION:
White male, mid 30s, average height and weight with blonde hair and multiple tattoos and piercings. The suspect was last seen wearing a black shirt and jeans.
