Missouri State Fair celebrates 110th year

Gov. Nixon attended opening day

Time for truck and tractor pulls, auto races, rodeos, contests, rides, music and much more at the Missouri State Fair in Sedalia.

The world renowned Budweiser Clydesdale will be there, and Governor Jay Nixon kicked off all the action on opening day.

The theme of the 2012 Missouri State Fair is "Celebrate Then and Wow," as the fair marks its 110th year.

You can see a full schedule of events at mostatefair.com. The fair runs from August 9 until the 19th.

The Pepsi Grandstand will be featuring performances by Hank Williams Junior, Larry the Cable Guy, Justin Moore, Jake Owens and more.
