He was a suspect from Thursday night's shots-fired incident
A man arrested after shots were fired in Jefferson City last week has been charged.
Michael Miller is charged with unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm.
Police picked the 21-year-old up Friday night in the 1100 block of East McCarty Street.
Miller was a suspect from a Thursday night shots-fired incident.
When officers searched him, they found a loaded .40 caliber handgun.
Miller told police he was a gang member, adding that he's from Chicago, but will go to Mississippi once he gets out of jail.
