Authorities are looking for a person of interest after they say a domestic argument in Columbia ended in an apartment fire.

Firefighters were called to a ground floor apartment at the Briarcrest apartments on North Garth last night.

They say a bed and contents of the bedroom were on fire.

Firefighters put out the flames in less than five minutes, but the apartment has about $15,000 worth of damage.

The assistant Fire Marshall says the fire started on the bed and the cause is under investigation.
