Cooper County police still searching for the man

A lone gunman entered the Main Street Bank in Prairie Home at about 11:25 a.m. Wednesday.

He's described as black, approximately 5'10" to 6'0", mid-thirties and with an average build. He wore blue jeans, a dark blue pull-over shirt , sunglasses and a dark ball cap.

When he entered the bank, he told the teller to empty the cash drawer, then ran from the bank.

Cooper County deputies are currently investigating the crime. Please contact the Cooper County Sheriff's Office at 660-882-2771 if you recognize this man or have any information
