Man arrested after reports of threatening people with a gun

FULTON -- A Fulton man is in the Callaway County Jail on multiple drug charges.
On Wednesday at about 9:15 Fulton police went to 15th St. and Monroe for a report of a white man threatening people with a gun but before they got there, the man ran into a home in the 1400-block of Monroe.
The suspect, Brent Teel, 31, was detained and during a search of the home officers found a substantial amount of marijuana along with packaging materials, baggies, scales, drug paraphernalia and several types of pills.  

They also found a gun, a .22 derringer and a large machete.

Teel is charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute
Near a School, 2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, and
Unlawful Use of Drug Paraphernalia.  

Teel has a $34,500 bond.
