(AP) -- SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) -- Springfield resident Doug Pitt is stepping out of his brother's shadow in an endorsement deal with Virgin Mobile Australia.

The Springfield News-Leader reports that Brad Pitt's sibling headlines a new ad for Virgin Mobile Australia. In the ad, the company says it wants to give Pitt a taste of his brother's lifestyle as part of a "celebrity deals at celebrity brother prices" promotion.

In a two-minute video uploaded this week, Pitt stands on the porch of a house and tells viewers to "come on inside, and let me take you for a tour." The original video has already racked up over 250,000 views.

While it's not actually Pitt's Springfield home in the ad, Morey Mechlin, executive director of Pitt's foundation, says the ad captures Pitt's self-deprecating humor.
