The American Red Cross Heart of Missouri Chapter is helping a Mexico family after a fire forced them out of their home on Friday morning.

The home was on Boulevard street, and the fire displaced six family members after it sustained significant fire damage.

Red Cross Volunteers from Audrain County met the family and helped them with basic immediate needs.

According to officials from the Mexico Fire Department, the fire was responded to by volunteers from the Little Dixie volunteer fire departments.  KRCG 13 will keep you updated with more details as they become available.
