The Columbia Public Works department will be doing seal chip maintenance from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Temporary lane restrictions will occur on the followng streets:
-Ann Street from Broadway to University Avenue
-Oakwood Drive from the east end to Old Highway 63
-Shockley Street from Bass Avenue to Anthony Street
-Fellows Place from Rock Quarry Rd to south end
-Greenwood Court from Greenwood Court to Greenwood Avenue
-Westwinds Drive from Greenwood Avenue to West Boulevard
-Columbine Court from Wildwood Drive to west end
-Green Meadows Drive from Green Meadows Road to Melody Lane
-Green Meadows Circle from Melody Lane to Greenbriar Drive
-Rollingwood Drive from Lynnwood Drive to Burrwood Drive
-Lake Valley Lane from Southampton Drive to south end
All work is slated to be finished, weather permitting, by 3:30 p.m.
Boone County
A two-mile stretch of Route K near McBaine in Boone County is closing today to allow drainage pipes to be placed under the road.
The section of highway, extending a mile east and west of Route KK, is expected to close at 9 a.m. and re-open at 3 this afternoon.
The work is part of a larger highway construction project that involves resurfacing and adding shoulders and bicycle lanes along a seven-mile stretch of Route K.
Construction on the resurfacing and shoulder project is scheduled to be completed by fall.
Randolf County
Starting today MoDOT crews will be doing bridge maintenance on Route C at the Route 24 overpass in Randolph County.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane through July 3rd from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
