Double fatality in Camden County

The Missouri Highway Patrol said around 4:00 Sunday morning two men were killed on Missouri Highway 5 about a quarter of a mile from Twin Rivers Road.

Terry Lawson,60, of Leander, Texas, was driving a Chevy S-10 pickup. His passenger was Jeffery King, 40, of Kansas City.

The patrol says Lawson crossed the center line, over-corrected, flipped and then hit a tree.

Both died a short time later at Lake Regional Hospital.
