Man gets 15 years for child molestation

Jefferson City resident Gary S. Lutman, 40, was sentenced to 15 years in prison in the Missouri Department of Corrections after he pleaded guilty to child molestation in Cole County Circuit Court on Thursday.

Between December 2009 and February 2010, Lutman engaged in inappropriate conduct with a child less than 12 years old. He has a prior conviction for child molestation from Miller County in 1996, so he will not be eligible for parole in this case.

He has been incarcerated in the Cole County Jail since his arrest.
