Weekend explosion on the water puts two in the hospital

Two people were taken to the hospital this weekend after an explosion at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Two men were getting gas for their jet ski at a marina near the 65 mile marker when the driver tried to start it, that's when a spark ignited fumes within the engine compartment causing it to explode.

60-year-old Ronald Dodson and 19-year-old Blake Samskey were taken to Lake Regional Hospital for serious and moderate injuries.
