The 5th annual Pow Wow is underway at the Boone County fairgrounds.

The social gathering for Native American tribes is a great chance to trade, dance, and celebrate their heritage.

The feel good cultural event also was described as a huge family reunion.

The Pow Wow is open to the public and this year special guest Larry Sellers from “Doctor Quinn Medicine Woman” made an appearance.

The grand entry happens at 6:45pm this evening. The pow wow concludes tomorrow at 5pm.
