Cole County fire crews respond to structure fire

Cole County fire crews responded to an early morning structure fire Wednesday morning on 4917 North Teal Bottom Road.

Fire fighters said the fire was under control within 15 minutes.

Cole County Fire Captain Steve Barnes told KRCG that the fire started on the deck of the house and was pretty much contained to that area.

He believes a barbeque grill sparked the fire.

There were no injuries, and Barnes estimates the damages to cost close to $20,000.
