Meth lab puts Mid-Missouri couple behind bars

A Mid-Missouri couple is behind bars this morning after a meth lab bust in Columbia.

34-year old Charles Albiol and his wife, 35-year old Brenda Albiol were arrested just before 8 p.m. Tuesday night at the Red Roof Inn.

Officers found the meth lab in the couple's room.

Police said the meth lab was active and presented a significant danger to other guests and employees of the motel.

The meth lab and motel room were made safe by Boone County Deputies trained to handle such situations.

Both Charles and Brenda Albiol were arrested for manufacturing of a controlled substance.

They 're currently in the Boone County Jail.
