KRCG 13 is sending someone "Over the Edge" for Special Olympics! But we need your help to decide who gets to go down the Jefferson State Office Building on October 20. Our candidates, Meghan Lane and Zac Evans, explain why you should vote for them:

Meghan Lane:
Unlike Zac Evans, I'm not usually known for being an adventure junkie. Roller coaster rides, the top of the St. Louis Arch are about as thrill-seeking as I get. So, needless to say, when I was first asked if I would consider going "Over the Edge" I was thinking, no way, absolutely not, not a chance. But then I reconsidered... First of all, it's for a great cause, the Special Olympics. Second, how often will I get such an awesome opportunity? And third, a competition with Zac Evans...GAME ON!

Zac Evans:
I've always had a bit of sense of adventure and when pairing that with helping a local organization, it's a no brainer. With proceeds going directly to Special Olympics, I'd be honored to repel off of a 13 story building in Jefferson City. Plus, it's always fun to compete with Meghan! The event isn't until October and that's a good thing. If I win, I'll have plenty of time to get mentally ready/try not to completely freak out!

Vote here!
Who should we send "Over the Edge" for Special Olympics?

We're sorry, voting for this poll has ended.
