Boone County - According to the Highway Patrol accident report, the driver of the tractor trailer fell asleep at the wheel.

32 year-old Dejaun Green of District Heights, Maryland fell asleep and went off the right side of the roadway. That’s when he woke up and overcorrected. The tractor trailer overturned in the eastbound lanes of I-70 near the 119 mile marker.

Wednesday's accident closed the eastbound lanes for more than an hour.

Green was taken to University Hospital with moderate injuries. No other vehicles were involved. Troopers said the truck was totaled.
