A new club is swinging into action. Families have come together to form the Central Missouri Down Syndrome Family Network. A fun day of miniature golf, bouncing around and refreshments was held at Turkey Creek Golf center. Those who participated have at least one family member with down syndrome.

Nancy Parsons, an Event Co-Organizer and mother, told us, "I really think that the thing that helped me the most when I found out the diagnosis with Jacob and as he has been growing up it has been to connect with other families. I think the idea here is that we are really just going to have some fun and learn a little bit from each other."

The group is a subsidiary of the Kansas City down syndrome guild and the down syndrome association of greater St. Louis... The inclusive group is helping families living with down syndrome patients and all ages are welcomed.
