The weather was likely a factor in an accident Monday morning in Osage Beach that involved a car and a semi.

The Osage Beach Fire, Police and EMT units were called to Highway 54 at Passover Road shortly before 7:00 a.m. Monday. Fire officials said the car was pushed up against a guard rail.

Crews had to remove the roof and a door to get the driver out of the vehicle.

Authorities said they don't know the extent of injuries.
