Police investigate bank robbery in Columbia

COLUMBIA -- Columbia police are looking for a man who robbed the Boone County National Bank at the corner of Providence and Walnut.

The robbery happened at about 9:35 a.m. Monday.

The robber got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

He did not display a weapon, there were no injuries.

A k-9 unit is on the scene trying to track the suspect.

He was last seen on foot heading north.

Witnesses describe the suspect as a black male, 30-40 years old with a stocky build.
