Columbia Police arrest a man for burglary at a local store

COLUMBIA -- A man was arrested early Monday morning for burglarizing a Mid-Missouri business. 

Columbia police said just after 1 a.m. Monday officers were dispatched to a police alarm at Liberty Motors at 5310 St. Charles Road.  

When they got there, they found an open door, a broken window and saw Julian Rowland run from the building.

Officers arrested Rowland for 2nd degree burglary and 2nd degree property damage.

Police said Rowland admitted his involvement in the incident.
