CAMDEN COUNTY -- A man was life-flighted to University Hospital after a motorcycle crash late Sunday night in Camden County.

It all began about 11:30 p.m. when a Camden County Deputy tried to pull over 35-year-old Michael Rappe on his Yamaha motorcycle for speeding.

Instead of pulling over, Rappe took off and led the deputy on a pursuit.

Eventually the Fenton man went off the right side of the road at Irontown drive, a little less than four miles north of Missouri 7.

That's when he hit a fence, overturned and was ejected off the motorcycle.

Charges are pending.
