OSAGE BEACH -- A teenager was hospitalized Monday after a car crash in Osage Beach.

It happened just after noon on Highway 54 at Key Largo.

Osage Beach police said 76-year-old john O’Connell, of Roach, Missouri, drove onto eastbound 54 from Key Largo into the path of 18-year-old Nathan Del Rosario.

O’Connell suffered minor injuries.

Del Rosario was taken by staff for life from Lake Regional Hospital to University Hospital in Columbia for serious injuries.
