JEFFERSON CITY -- A woman and two children were sent to a hospital after a car crash in Jefferson City.

It happened early Wednesday afternoon in the 3200-block of Missouri Boulevard.

Police say 26-year-old Nicholas Redington was turning from a driveway onto Missouri Boulevard when his vehicle hit the passenger side of 42-year-old Peggy Taylor's car.

Taylor had to be extricated from her car and transported to a hospital.

Two small children in Redington's car were also taken to the hospital.

The extent of their injuries is unknown.
