Man falls off a cliff in Osage Beach

OSAGE BEACH -- A man who fell from a cliff in Osage Beach Tuesday afternoon is at University Hospital in Columbia.

Osage Beach firefighters found the man on the lake's shoreline in the 1400-block of Bluff Drive just after 5 p.m..

Rescuers said he had fallen about 75 feet, and suffered serious head and chest trauma.

The victim was evacuated by boat to Port Arrowhead Marina, before he was taken by helicopter to Columbia.
