The Jefferson City School District is holding a school board meeting Thursday night in Jefferson City to dicuss their 2012-2013 agenda.
Included on that agenda is a budget amendment that includes an 1.8% average salary increase for staff.
A school official told KRCG that the increase is based on the district's salary schedule, which takes into account the education of the teachers and how many years they've been teaching.
The meeting starts at 6:00 p.m. Thursday night at the Board of Education building on East Dunklin Street in Jefferson City.
