COLUMBIA -- Columbia Police are investigating a report of shots fired.

Police said it happened early Wednesday morning at about 1:25 officers in the 400-block of Hirth.

The victim told police he heard a knock at the door and when he answered the door two black men started shooting at him.

He then said the men ran southbound on Hirth Ave.

The victim was injured by glass from a broken window.

Officers found multiple shell casings at the scene and say they’re looking for two black men 18-20 years old.
