Trial date set for teacher accused of sexual contact with student

JEFFERSON CITY -- A judge Wednesday set the trial date for a Jefferson City band teacher arrested for sexual contact with a student.

Chris Knehans' jury trial is scheduled for June 14, 2012.

According to an indictment, Knehans knowingly had sexual contact with a female student at Jefferson City High School.
Knehans is on administrative leave.
