Police investigate armed robbery

Update: Monday, February 20th at 9:00 a.m.:

Columbia Police continue their search for the man who robbed a Columbia gas station at knife point.

Officers responded around 11:15 Sunday night to the armed robbery at the Breaktime Convenience Store at 301 Nebraska Avenue.

The Boone County Sheriff’s Department K-9 assisted with a track, but was unsuccessful. No one was injured during the robbery.

Columbia Police have released this suspect information: white male, 6’0, medium build, last seen wearing dark clothing.

The Columbia Police Department is investigating an armed robbery.

Late Sunday night an employee at the Break Time gas station on Nebraska Avenue was robbed at knife point.

Columbia police said a white male wearing a red or black hoody pulled a knife on an employee and demanded cash.

The suspect then took off on foot traveling toward Interstate 70.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Columbia Police Department.
