Man arrested for 2011 jewelry heist

A man wanted in both Jefferson City and the state of Michigan has been caught and arrested.

Jefferson City police arrested David Alan Harrison Tuesday morning in a capital city apartment building.

The 34-year old was linked to a theft at Vandelicht Jewelry on Truman Boulevard last fall, and in Michigan, Harrison was originally arrested for robbery and breaking and entering.

Local burglary charges will be sought before Harrison is transferred back to Michigan.
