Lake area drug seizure nets marijuana valued at $40,000

Camden County law enforcement recovered marijuana valued at $40,000 at a Climax Springs residence.

The Camden County Sheriff's Office says they executed a search warrant at the home in the 100 block of Drennon Chapel Drive and found 12 pounds of marijuana, packaging material, drug paraphernalia, two firearms, misc ammunition and $2,610 in cash.

One man was arrested as a result of the findings. He is currently housed in the Camden County Adult Detention Facility pending formal charges.
