Several city and state workers around the area are working together to make cars safer places for small infants.
The Jefferson City Fire Department teamed up with MoDOT today to start inspections on child car and booster seats. All staff members at the Jefferson City Fire Department are being trained to inspect and install the seats.
Folks can stop by any of the five fire stations in Jefferson City to have their car seat installed at no cost. This is going on until February 15th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the afternoon. For more information call the Jefferson City Fire Department.
