St. James man facing child pornography charges

A St. James man is facing a federal child pornography charge.
Jason Lamier, 35, of St. James, was indicted on Jan. 19 by a federal grand jury on multiple charges including possession, receipt and transportation of child pornography.
Lamier could face up to 10 years in prison along with a fine up to $250,000 for possession of child pornography and up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine for each count of receipt and transportation.
The case was investigated by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Office of Homeland Security Investigations.
Lamier appeared in court on Tuesday.
