Jefferson City Police are looking for people they believe were involved an overnight drive-by shooting.

Police said it happened around 5:17 a.m. Sunday. Law enforcement responded to the BreakTime on Stadium Blvd after several gunshots were fired.

Police found multiple shell casings on the lot and in the street in front of the business when they arrived.

Police said they received a second call around the same time from the Capital Region Medical Center about two people with gunshot wounds that had come into the Emergency Room.

Police found the victim’s vehicle outside the hospital still running. There were multiple bullet holes in it.

Police said multiple shots were fired on and near the lot of BreakTime and that there was probably more than one shooter involved.

Gregory Ruff, 20, and Markus Davis, 19, both of Jefferson City, each had gunshot injuries that were not life threatening.

Ruff was transferred to University Hospital in Columbia while Davis remained at Capitol Region Medical Center. Both were treated and released.
