Fatal accident in Boone Co.

BOONE, CO. -- A Columbia man has died following a single car crash in the 7300 block of Wagon Trail Road North.

Boone County Deputies responded to the scene around 12:30 Saturday morning.

When they arrived they found a 2002 Ford Crown Victoria ran off the road as it was traveling North bound and hit a tree.

The driver, 56-year old Donald G. Chick of Columbia, MO., was taken to University Hospital where he later died.

He was not wearing a seatbelt according the police.
