As area residents consider where to dispose of live Christmas trees, Boone Electric Cooperative is offering a bag of mulch in exchange for a tree.

T
he collected trees are used by the Department of Conservation for wildlife habitat.

Trees free of any decorations can be taken to the Co-Op Headquarters at 14
13 Rangeline Street in Columbia.

he tree exchange continues until January 9th.
