A Jefferson City man is listed in serious condition after he was found laying outside his garage Monday morning.
Bruce wright's family believes he was beaten.
He went missing Saturday night after an argument with a family member.
One of the last places he was seen was at a Breaktime convenience store just down the street from his house.
Sunday family members searched for him but didn't find him until Monday morning.
That's when he was found lying on the ground outside their home on Dunklin Avenue.
Wright's son, Bruce said it itsn't like him to disappear, "We called the police and they came and pretty much they took him to the hospital and right now we're just worried about him and wondering what happened".
Wright was taken to St. Mary's Health Center and police say they'll be able to get a better idea of what happened when wright regains consciousness.
We also talked to one of Wright's friends, he said it's unlike him to not call-in to his job at Lincoln University if he's going to be out sick.
If you have any information your asked to contact the Jefferson City Police Department.
