University of Missouri to announce new president

The University of Missouri system has scheduled an announcement to name a new University System President.

The announcement completes a nearly year-long search process for the university. Former UM President Gary Forsee resigned the position to care for his wife while she battles cancer.

The announcement is scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday Reynolds Alumni Center on the University of Missouri-Columbia campus. It will be the univeresity's 23rd president.
