City toy drive hoping to collect toys for 300 kids

The City of Columbia's annual Toys for Columbia's Youth holiday toy drive has a few weeks left to collect toys for local children.

Toy and monetary donations will be accepted until December 13th.

Organizers are asking for new or gently used toys for boy and girls, ages 14 and under. The toy drive is hoping to help about 300 children from low income families.

You an drop off your donations to:

Parks & Recreation Administration at 1 South 7th Street

Armory Sports & Community Center at 701 East Ash Street

ARC at 1701 West Ash Street

City of Columbia's Water & Light Department at 105 E. Ash Street

Jonesy's Instant Imprints at 401 Forum Boulevard (Suite 103)

Kelly Services at 2501 Bernadette Drive

Sports Clips at 1401 Forum Boulevard or 2716 Paris Road (Sutie 3)

First State Community Bank (3 locations) at 3200 Golden Bear Dr., 15 S. 5th St., 300 Diego Drive

Tiger Dry Cleaning & Laundry (4 locations) - 3302 W. Broadway, 1608 Chapel Hill, 126 S. 8th St., or 3905 Peachtree Drive

Assistant City Prosecutor' Office - 600 E. Broadway

Jimmy John's (4 locations) - 1019 E. Broadway, 4008 W. Broadway, 212, Corporate Lake Dr., or 912 Rainforest Parkway

Monetary donations are also accepted at 1 S. 7th St. or 701 E. Ash Street. 

A letter of receipt for tax purposes will be provided. Please provide a receipt for purchased toys.
