OSAGE BEACH, MO -- A little pink ink is going to help cancer patients at Lake Regional Cancer Center in Osage Beach.

Bad Donkey Tattoo recently donated a $1,000 check to the center. The tattoo business raised the money by giving out free pink ribbon tattoos in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.

While the ink was free, people were encouraged to donate.

Cancer center officials say the $1,000 will help patients with expenses like nutritional supplements or transportation to and from treatments.
