(AP) -- Occupy St. Louis protesters have returned to a downtown park they've occupied for weeks and where about two dozen of them were arrested for not obeying an order to leave.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that a few protesters were in Kiener Plaza at 6 a.m. Saturday and that they obeyed a police request to take down a tent.

Police arrested about two dozen people just after midnight Friday after a federal judge declined the protesters' request to allow them to remain in the park through the weekend. Police also took down tents that had been up for weeks.

The judge scheduled a hearing for Tuesday to consider whether the protesters should be allowed to relocate in the park.
