Update: Thursday 5:30 p.m.:

Officials at Our Lady of Lourdes Interparish School in Columbia say power problems have forced them to call-off classes for Friday.

The same electrical issue caused the cancellation of classes on Thursday as well.

 The school, located at 903 Bernadette Drive, is said to have an internal power equipment malfunction. Neighboring homes and businesses are not effected.

Our Lady of Lourdes Interparish School in Columbia is closed Thursday because of a power outage in the school.

The principal said it’s too early to say if classes will be called off again tomorrow.
