The next step in a jury trial is underway for a Holts Summit woman charged with killing her husband.

Sandra Plunkett appeared in a Callaway County courtroom Monday morning.

A judge ordered that, within the next 10 days, each party has to propose which counties they would like to see the jury come from. Her case will be heard in Callaway County. Officials are still trying to decide when Plunkett's trial will start.

Plunkett is charged with first degree murder in the New Year's Day death of her husband, Paul.

Plunkett has pleaded not guilty.
