Osage County Sheriff’s Deputies are looking for the people responsible for marijuana plants and stolen property found on a farm.

On Friday, the Osage County Sheriff’s Department, along with the Missouri State Highway Patrol and Army National Guard, seized marijuana plants growing on a farm in northern Osage County.

Chief Deputy Rob Relford said a detective observed the marijuana plants from the air and gave directions to deputies on the ground as to where the plants were located.

Deputies described the marijuana plants as averaging 4 ½ to 6 feet in height. All the marijuana plants were seized as evidence.

Chief Deputy Relford said deputies returned to the property in an attempt to locate the owners of the residence where the plants were found.

Deputies also found components used in the manufacturing of methamphetamines in the bed of a truck parked at the house. Deputies also found evidence of stolen property from a reported burglary in Osage County.

This investigation continues.
